Sicamous Beach Park

Only a two minute walk from our downtown core. Lots of sandy beach, picnic tables, beach volleyball, a water park and an adventure playground for the kids.

Mara Beach

Located on Highway 97 on Mara Lake. This is a beautiful sandy beach away from all the hustle of the downtown core.

Sicamous truly has something for everyone providing leisurely recreational opportunities for all ages.

River Front Nature Park

River Front Nature Park offers the opportunity to stroll along the Eagle River. The terrain is relatively flat making it suitable for everyone.

Sicamous Creek Trails

Serpentine your way up Sicamous Creek Trails to the Look-out. This hike will make your legs burn and a great cardio.

This water park is conveniently located at our Beach Park and provides the opportunity for kids to cool off away from the deep waters in the swimming area.

The Best Place In The Shuswap To Launch A Boat

Sicamous is strategically located to be the best place in the Shuswap to launch a boat. Not only are we conveniently located on the Trans Canada Highway, but we are also more centrally located making all boating amenities more accessible.

Beach Park Boat Launch

The Sicamous Beach Park Boat Launch is located right next to one of the nice beaches in the Shuswap, it’s a two minute walk to down town Sicamous and Mike from Red’s Rentals explains why he considers it a full service boat launch.

Fruit World takes pride in being able to source out the very best in fresh fruit and vegetables and it shows. If you are after some of the best that nature has to offer, Fruit World is worth the visit.

After Dark Distillery

Monashee Mountain Moonshine is some of the finest flavor infused moonshine around. Visit the distillery, go for a free tour and learn about the art of making this highly coveted nectar. Don’t forget about the free samples and maybe even pick-up a jar so you can share it with your friends.

Community Farmers Market

Every Saturday you can locate the crowds at the Sicamous Community Farmers Market. With local entrepreneurs pitching their wares, there are is plenty of treasures to found. But, it is more than just a market. It’s a social event that provides the opportunity to have a cup of coffee and a bite to eat while meeting some nice people.

The Sicamous Show N Shine has been a summer kick-off tradition for motor vehicle enthusiasts for more than a decade. Not only does this event attract some of the hottest show pieces around, but it is also an opportunity to win some awesome prizes including luxurious houseboat vacations for both owners and spectators. And it’s FREE! All you have to do is show up!

Canada Day Festival – July 1

Canada Day Festival

The 2018 Canada Day celebration in Sicamous will kick-off with a traditional road hockey tournament on Main Street followed by an awesome beach party featuring four live bands and the best fireworks show in the Shuswap.

We kick off summer right with the best Canada Day Celebration in the Shuswap. Last year the celebration started on Friday night with some local hockey heroes joining us on Main Street for a game of road hockey complete with a live performance by the Time Benders and refreshments in the beer garden. On the following day the celebration continued with more than 20 family fun activities including a road hockey tournament, three live bands, a car show, the children’s art festival and so much more. Canada Day in Sicamous is truly an epic celebration.

Music In The Park – Every Monday

Mondays in Sicamous throughout July and August have become known for Music In The Park featuring bands such as Daring Greatly, Devon Coyote, and Georgie Lyons. This is a family fun event at the Sicamous Beach Park allowing adults to enjoy the music while kids cool of at the water park and enjoy the playground.

The RCMP Musical Ride – July 17th

On July 17 the Musical Ride of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be in Sicamous. This is a formal event showcasing the equestrian skills performed by 32 cavalry who are regular members of the force. The event is held in Canada and worldwide to promote the RCMP.

Sicamous Family Fun Day – August 4

The BC Day long weekend in Sicamous offers an opportunity to enjoy a day of family activities including the Kids Fund Zone, sand castle building, cardboard boat race, and talent show along with the performances of three live bands.

The BC Day long weekend is all about community with the Sicamous community parade followed by community BBQ complete with a live band and beer gardens. This event was held at our beach park allowing everyone to enjoy the sun and cooling off in the water. Another great community event.

In September, Sicamous plays host to the Sicamous Fungi Festival which is typically a three day event offering the opportunity to learn about various aspects of mushrooms. The events includes expert presentations, guided tours, cooking demonstrations and live entertainment.
